I remember that guy. LOL. I hadn't joined the board yet, but every post he made was - DT 6"4" 375lbs, 6' 3" 297 labs- how you going to handle that size. We gashed those fools and smacked them all over the field! Not a peep from him.

Interesting note: The Raiders are tied for league best only allowing 13 sacks all season. The Titans are ranked 4th in the league with 31 sacks.

I guess we will see what the pass rush is really about. If they can knock Carr around a bit it would probably throw him off a bit since he's not used to it.

Like Baltimore earlier in the thread I watched the game against the Lions. I didn't find anything outstanding about the Raiders but as a cohesive unit they are far more legit than anything I have seen out of them for a few years. Del Rio is doing a fair job.

The commentary guys mentioned a stat they are leaders in pre-snap penalties league-wise and this was happening again against the Lions even though they weren't blitzing every play. Might be an idea for LeBeau and Horton to bring the heat.

Carr was much improved from when I saw him last about a season ago. He did look as if he starting to grow into the role , some of the throws were pretty good in terms of velocity and also touch. When the heat did get through the Raider OL he started to look a little lost again.

I felt the Detroit secondary played soft and made it easy for the Raider WR and Carr to link up , same as the Lion LB's couldn't play either of the two Raider TE's. We've got to play the WR's hard at the line of scrimmage to disrupt the timing and give Casey and Co enough time to get to Carr.

I expect that the Raiders D will put more guys in the box than they did with Stafford to challenge Mariota to win with his arm. If Wright is back it will help. I think Walker could have another good day looking at some of the coverages from the Raiders and mis-directions could work as it appeared that the Raiders D commited themselves all out to the flow of the play several times.

In short - a much improved outfit , Carr looking reasonable but the Titans are seriously not without a chance. If Mariota can get the ball to the WR's and not rely on Andrews , this could be very close. I'll be watching from over here as usual ; no fake tan.

I always pray for a win. I think on paper OAK has more talent. However, if we can get Delanie & Wright going it will be a long day for the OAK defense. I wish we had a better RB to make the run threat more credible. Andrew has been OK, but he is not scaring teams into stacking the box.

Carr & Cooper are a legit duo. It will be interesting to see just how bad Cooper burns our DBs. I hate the idea of Sensabaugh trying to cover Cooper. Our Pass Rush will need to be able to get home and rattle Carr.

If we cannot get to Carr with the pass rush we may be looking at a rough loss.

I hope MM8 has the game of his life and we pull out a double digit win. However, QB has not been the real issue this year. Once again our oline is still holding us back. Our WRs need to make it a tough day for DBs. They have to find ways to get open and off coverage quickly.

To anyone who doesn't believe coaching has a huge impact in the NFL, look at the Raiders OL. AFAIK they're starting 2 undrafted, a 7th round, a 3rd round and a 2nd round pick.
