Raiders @ Titans Post Embarrassment Thread

    Yes! Too many three and outs, and a pitiful 3rd down conversion percentage. We are lacking talent at the Rb position, but it's difficult to get a running game going with so many 3rd and longs. If the Titans were going to attempt to trade for someone this season I would have liked to see them go after Tre Mason.

    MM8 had a so so game, he was off on a lot of passes today. Maybe it was the rain, wet ball and WRs couldnt get footing so combo of everything. I do think the D lost it today. Carr was slinging it on the last 2 drives and I was pulling my hair screaming how our DBs couldn't defend. We just dont have players, thats just the reality and its painful.

    I just finished watching the recorded game and MM was throwing to air. I'm a fan but even I was like "who are you throwing to?". Agree with everyone else about how bad our WR's are. Next year is the last year of Delanie's contract so we better try and lock him up for about another 2-3 years. Defense was great except for our suspect CB's.

    Guys, the defense is why we were even close in this game. 2 turnovers.

    Yeah, I agree....

    My point is that, at the end, with one stop to make, in a driving rainstorm, they did not get it done. Blown call hurt, but the D did not finish the game IMO....

    They were good In spots. But really bad when the ball was in the air. DBs did a bad job. Offense scored when we needed and gave us the lead.

    I thought it was his worst game too. Having said that, the offense doesn't need to be on his shoulders. The Titans have to take pressure off him by putting him in better situations.

    That's all about the run game, IMO.

    Add to the mix of bad DB play was the lack of a pass rush on Carr late.

    Its easy and lazy to blame MM for our losses. I think everyone would agree that as a rookie he is going to make mistakes but you have to admit that he has far exceeded at least my expectations. He puts the ball where guys should be making catches but they just dont. We dont have anyone that can make the tough catches other than Walker.

    Our WRs and DBs have continuosly failed this team. Wright is useless if not on a crossing route. Every route he runs looks like he is about to fall down. DGB is just too raw to know if he will be anything of value. I complain about us having a garage sale collection of players but even so other teams seem to make it work with guys you've never heard of. Still think is the position coach.

    I also dont believe we have a good OC still. I am not sold he has a system that works with the players we have.

    I really thought we would see more running from MM8 or more bootleg passes.Micheals is just a bad OC. We had a lot more passing this game than running but why pick more passing on a soggy day where running would be better. I don't know, sick of losing and questioning why. Nothing ever makes sense for this team.

    I'm not sure how anyone can say the D was "great" today. The Raiders routinely converted third downs, the pass rush was near non-existent and the DB's were a collective mess. Remember the raiders converted two 90 yard drives into 10 points. The Raiders mistakes and timely calls from the refs kept this game close.
