    Again my point in this thread is to note the team is well positioned for sale. the level of interest ownership has is only a minor factor and admittedly debatable.

    I think it is very odd that there at least has not been a statement regarding a timetable to find a permanent president and that Ruston Webster has not been dismissed and replaced with at least an interim GM alongside the coaching change. It all sets up with the other factors for a clean "reset" at season's end. It's not a big deal to me because any financial renewal I might have isn't required until Spring. Just oddly positioned in an optimum setup if a sale were to occur.

    If he did I didn't hear it. IIRC something said he'd consider staying on as a full time pres.

    I think I remember him saying that then, and he definitely said the team would "cast a large net" after the season ends in search for their next coach after he fired Whiz.

    I've been saying the same thing for some of the same reasons for awhile now. The whole "interim president" thing in particular and just how it's been handled overall seems very fishy to me. Throw in the fact that Underwood has been a longtime Adams family lawyer, and well, who better to steer the ship through a potential sale?

    I'm not saying the team is definitely going to be sold. But if that does end up being the case I think it's going to be very easy for us to look back on this past year or so and see that the writing was on the wall.


    I am absolutely praying for a sale at this point.

    I like to think the team is poised to be handed over to Peyton Manning, President, Tennessee Titans. He can then choose his new GM and Head Coach. All the interim stuff is just placeholders till he gets here.
