    You forgot the fine print.

*being good upon relocation is dependent upon having players like Steve McNair, Bishop, Bulluck, Kearse, Wycheck, Bruce Matthews, etc. if these requirements are not met, 8-8 or worse is guaranteed.

    Always read the fine print.

Fish's only great coaching year since 2003 only happened because it was a perfect storm with Haynesworth. Without 2008, he would have been a solid bum coach besides the one year we backed into the playoffs with VY, and also lost 1st round, to the Chargers, who deserved to be there.

Anyone defending this guy after 12 solid years of failure has to be out of their minds. Not one playoff win.

How many does he have since taking over Houston??? 5. And those all came from 1999 (3) 2002 (1 win) and 2003 (1 win)
5-6 in the playoffs, in 21 years HC in the NFL
    What a coach.

Frickin Brian Billick was 8-5 in the playoffs, In only 8 seasons.. And he was unceremoniously fired when he had a few underachieving seasons, and he was never heard from after 2007.

..and he still accomplished way more than Jeff Fisher.

And there were definitely years that the Titans had the better teams.

Yeah, wasn't in the super bowl, Year 2000 draft, but he definitely did help ease in the relocation, having that OLB position solid for a decade or so.

I'd say 99-03 were the real momentum build up years. It's unfortunate that it has completely been spoiled since then.

Honestly, I was referring to his ability to keep the team together. Wasn't really thinking about the Super Bowl team.

They weren't a Super Bowl team when in Memphis.

He does not have the media snowed under in stl like he did here. They are coming after him and he is showing what he showed here. He is an 8-8 coach at best with an ego bigger than the players. The fact he did not get the USC job shocks me I just assumed he wanted to go back home to the trojans. I wonder if they even talked to him?

His arrogance is what makes him unlikeable to me. He has a definite smugness behind that mustache.

What's inexcusable to me is that they KNEW mcnair wasn't going to last much longer. By 2004 they should have already had an heir apparent drafted and lined up, instead, they waited til McNair was useless and basically a Raven by the time it was addressed. Billy V. was never going to be that guy, and they knew it. Bad move.

Yeeeaaah, but it was pretty sweet when he threw for 918 yards in back to back games.

I hear ya man but that rarely works out. Did with Favre and Rogers but it is rare. They tried it with Moon but Cody Carlson was a bust. The Broncos tried two different guys and neither worked out. Always sounds good in theory though.

Who would they have taken?......... Actually, they did want Kyle Orton in the mid rounds but the Bears beat them to it. And he was nothing special.
