Crazy idea: Trade Mariota to the Eagles, draft a QB

    We all know and have seen what Mariota is capable of doing in the NFL with all the crap around him. We do not know what the best QB in this year's draft is capable of?

    Qb's are the biggest crap shoot in the draft and not worth the gamble after we found someone who seems more than capable with lots of potential and "Great" work ethic. We may get a Manziel or another VY....not worth taking the chance.

    Because there is no QB in this class that can even sniff Mariota's balls.

    If we trade away the leagues next best QB Im driving to Nashville and burning the whole place down...

    I have a similar idea. Let's send Mike Mularkey back in a time machine to kidnap Dan Marino and Bo Jackson. We can drug them and give them plastic surgery to hide their actual identities. Dan will now be known and Kippie Cummings and Bo will be renamed Jamaal Lewinsky.
    Also, Mularkey will make a stop at NFL headquarters in 1965 to rename the Super Bowl to The Titans Bowl.

    I will not ridicule you but I think Mariota would have to be terrible and in the last year of his contract for this to be possible.

    This is one of the worst threads of all time. Ever. Anywhere. LOL I expect this from a hack like Iceburg or we. his name is, but not you.. You're the first one to call people out on their irrational ideas, LOL the irony.

    QB is the single most important position in all of sports. After 10+ years of Vince Young, Jake Locker, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Hasselbeck, Charlie Whitehurst, Zach Mettenberger and whoever the heck else, you're proposing the idea of trading away our rookie QB who statistically, is having one of the best seasons (16/8) a rookie QB has ever had, with one of the worst offensive supporting casts the league has seen in recent memory.

    I shouldn't even have to waste my time writing that ^

    where have you been the last 10 years? This franchise has desperately searched for a QB of Mariota's talent for literally more than 10 seasons and you want to go through that process again for some extra picks? LMAO

    Only thing that worries me with Mariota is his deep ball and sometimes he stares down receivers.

    He never really threw deep at Oregon, which is one of the biggest reasons I wasn't high on him.

    I hope it's something he can improve on. If not, it really limits his upside. But even some of the great QBs dink and dunk 90% of the time... Brady and such.

    his deep ball is a concern, but no one but Big Ben really does well on the deep ball... Its most QB's worst play... 90% on the WR to make a play, I remember Torrey Smith making Flacco look like a beast, now Flacco has less than 10 completions past 20-yards...

    This is the kind of stuff I was wondering if I would get.

    I don't want to paint with too broad a brush here, but some of you guys are as crazy as I am for making this post.

    I like Mariota, but you have to evaluate him in a vacuum. He has a long way to go.

    If I was offered a huge package for Mariota, plus I was able to get another potential franchise QB, I would at least consider it.
