Rumor Looks Like We are Stuck with Webster

Ownership has got to give half a crap before anything is done about Webster. Im not real sure they care as much about a winning team as they do a stable cash cow.

New GM definitely, even if draft was very random, then he's bad luck. New blood is needed.

 

Their profits but would oh so much more if they were in it to win it and putting a good quality product on the field.

If they are in need of proof of that. Look no further than at the Busses and how they make their livelihood off the Lakers. They spend money and yet Id bet they don't have anymore personally than Mr. Adams and Miss Strunk.

 

This whole organization needs to be overhauled in a big way. It has to start with ownership and move down but looks like they could care less if webster stays.

 

This exactly. I was just going to post that this team has got to start drafting football players as opposed to athletes. I recall last draft, for example, when he spoke of why the team drafted Angelo Blackson he said something like, "It's hard to find guys his size that run under 4.9". The best examples of great athletes that can't play football on this team are Hunter and Sensabaugh, I'm sure Goober wet his pants when he drafted them.

 

It can work if you have top-notch developers on your staff but considering our state of coaches, it is peeing in the wind.

 

If we were to sell the team, Ruston's ass would definitely be out the door!
