I wouldn't hate the Henry pick if we got him in the 3rd or even if we traded picks and got him with a 2nd round pick if we had two 2nd round picks.

Definitely would not take him the first though. I'm pretty much sold on taking a corner with our first pick and a lineman or wide receiver with the next one.

Henry is for real, but your plan would work too, CB and WR then a mid round RB later could do it here

But the one thing I think helps all this Henry talk is Ruston Webster (if back) seems to love guys with insane measurables, and at 6'3" 245lbs and runs 4.4 40's WITH all his production and accolades he just seems like such a Webster pick.

Sankey, Hunter, Lewan, Mariota, Brown, all the top picks since Webster took over have shown off the charts times at the combine. Henry will impress in February and Webster might fall in love.

Funny thing is none of us want Henry at this point, probably won't at draft time still, but if we draft him, we would all be low key excited come summer lol

I freely admit I'd take him with the 1st overall pick personally, no player in this draft class I'd rather have on the Titans and if there's no one I want more why would I take anyone else. That's just my opinion and I'm aware that I'm probably the only one on this board that'd take him there, but I just think he's going to be that dominant a back.

Ingram plays on the saints so ya not the best situation for a back. Probs could be top ten in right situation

I don't think he's anywhere near a Top 10 pick, but I would expect to see him to be there at the top of the 2nd, where he would be a good value. All the runs that Andrews made for 20 or so, Henry makes and takes it to the house. THAT is what we really need, and don't quite have.

We could have a decent running game with Cobb and Andrews, but if we draft Tunsil in the 1st and take Henry in the 2nd, I think we suddenly have a dominant running game. The kind that can take over many games and pull out wins that otherwise might not happen.

What I'd like to happen, ideally, is to try and trade back into the middle of the 1st Rd, with a team that needs a QB...maybe the Rams, and take Ohio State OT, Taylor Decker, who I think would be as good as Tunsil. That fills a need and gives us MUCH needed extra draft picks.

If he runs a 4.4 and kills it at the combine, then yeah. It would be a total Ruston move (if still here) to draft that guy.

I feel like Henry will run a 4.5-4.6 range. Which for a 6'3 240 lb back is still damn good.

No running back in this year's class is worthy of a top 10 pick.

As far as the original argument, Mark Ingram has been an above average running back when healthy. He was drafted at the end of the 1st round, so I would say he was worthy of the pick.
