I don't think anyone should be that upset if we address O-line early in the draft again this year. I'm on the side though which would rather address the O-line in FA. With guys like Cordy Glenn, Russell Okung, Mitchell Swartz, Andre Smith, etc. all probably hitting the FA market, I think it would be easy to upgrade at the tackle position.

O-Line is an important part of football but I prefer our top picks being used on guys who touch the football...

We know first hand what a bad line will do to a team but Id like to be able to get excited by our top pick. Use it on a linemen then what Andrews shines? Not exactly something to look forwards to next season...

Just noticed a recent mock showing us picking Tunsil 1st overall. Not sure how I would respond if this were to happen.

THIS is the year that we NEED to trade down. We have so many damn needs, and LT isn't a massive need, although we def need a RT. Cleveland, San Fran, & Rams all need a QB and I believe they'll all end up in the Top-10. If we do stay at our pick (and it's #1), you gotta go Tunsil.

But we also lack elite talent, and I think we need that more than anything. If we trade back we better be sure we can still get that kind of talent. I don't want to trade back to 7-10 and miss out on elite players at the top. Now if we have grades on guys that are pretty equal, and don't see 1-3 as elite, then I say move back and get more picks. But I doubt we can get Tunsil or Ramsey talent at those spots . . .

    1) I think it will be tough to trade down.

    2) Adam Winn must be Tunsil's agent.

Hey , as much as i hate to see us spend another first on OL we need to protect Marcus. This guy seems like the real deal, they compared him to Ogden. They're saying he's easily the best tackle prospect since Joe Thomas. If we protect Marcus , our skill positions and defense will look a WHOLE lot better. I'm on board for Tunsil, if we can't get trade down.

The chance of getting an elite player at #1 vs #10 are the pretty even, IMO. But I get what you're saying.. however, I think we lack overall depth vs elite talent.

How about another full back in the 4th round?
