I'd love Henry in the third, but I wouldn't use our first (obviously) or our 2nd on him. I've literally seen him anywhere from the mid-2nd to mid-4th, so it'll be interesting to see where he ends up. IMO, somebody will grab him with their 2nd.

However, I would LOVE if Elliott fell to our 2nd rounder.

If we fix other areas maybe we can consider Fournette (who is a much better RB) in 2017.

Or Chubb... assuming his recovery goes well.

I like Elliot more than Henry too, but he seems like a total headcase. Sh*tty attitude type of player. Not sure we can handle any more of those right now. Maybe if we were a good team.

Oh and McCaffrey should've won the Heisman.

No. I will not allow this. We will not start talking about the 2017 draft yet.

Elliott is better than Henry, no question.... but yes. Basketcase. Dude sobs his eyes out to the National Anthem.

    Too much estrogen.

And surely they, the pick, will be a "project" that has a good combine.

He won't last past 35 at worst. More likely in the low to mid 20 ' s due to his measurable and winning the Heisman didn't hurt his draft stock either.

Don't want any OSU running backs. They have proved they are all just mediocre products of a system.

Literally no one is suggesting going Henry #1 overall, I wouldn't even take him in the 2nd round unless we made drastic moves in free agency. He's a 2nd round talent but not the pick from us. Unless we make some trades, I can't see a way we take him.

It's also really unfair to try and compare one guy to Derrick Henry. The guy has crazy athleticism and is built like an absolute monster. If anything, he's a home run hitter. He's a playmaker. He's a guy that you hand the ball off to and he's getting you the tough yards. He can grind out a game for you or bust open a couple huge runs. He has the size, speed, body and the mental game to make it in the NFL. His footwork and vision are far improved compared to his freshman year and I don't see his game all of a sudden becoming stagnant, more refined most likely. Outside of carrying the ball, he's an excellent pass blocker and identifies being able to pick up the blitz. I think he also has better hands than he's being credited for, something we'll see in the playoffs.

One question... does anyone here actually believe Henry would not be a serious upgrade in our backfield? He's obviously better IMHO than anyone on our roster at the moment. Grabbing both Tunsil and Henry is a no brainer at this point. We have no running game people.
