It's not just the 0-9 record.....he never had us in any game. I know our team sucks, but come on.

He was staring at Sankey, who was wide open for a Td, and clearly looked some where else afterwards. He later threw ball away while having DW open in end zone on same side.

No field vision, off target, late on throws, no touch at all....shows nothing positive or something to build on.

Falcons game!e, the D gave him about 20 chances to win that game.

We need to just forget about the steelers game. It was obviously a fluke, and you can't hang your hat off an almost win for a year and a half. Mett supporters wouldn't let MM have credit for almost wins.

Let's face it, Jake Locker was a far superior QB to Mett.

 

I think stability killed Locker.

Combination of injuries and constant change never let him build up any kind of confidence.

 

We should test the waters at seasons end. See in any team will pony up a second rounder or better for Mett. Use the pick on the line or on a wide receiver. Use a late pick on a an prospect, worst we get is another Rusty Switch, at best another Tom Brady. Doing this is better than doing nothing !

Mettenblooper has NO trade value at this time, if we put Mett on the trade block teams would laugh at us, the media would have a field day mocking us.. It would be embarrassing.. Mett has played well enough to be cut flat out after the season..

 

Pretty much anyone who has ever started a game for the Titans is superior to Mett.

Doug Johnson was superior to Mett. I'd say that with a straight face.

Some QBs just have that "factor" of excitement that they may pull off a tremendous play, and win the game..
Mariota has it, VY had it. ZM simply doesn't.

 

I like this idea. While we're at it, we should put Blidi Wreh Wilson on the block for 5 consecutive 1st round picks. We can use those picks and rebuild the team.

And Griffin, we should trade him for Tom Brady and Devonta Freeman, in a 3 team trade in which the falcons get nothing in return.
