Has he been in any legal trouble or anything or are you saying that because of his personality? I can't remember any major problems off the field. I'm sure eagles fans will care about his personality as they watch Redskins playoff games. There are not many football players who are saints. My favorite player ever might still be alive if he were home with his wife where he should have been. However, it doesn't diminish what he meant to the Titans while playing.

 

Exactly, Chip Kelly's offense has gotten worse every year, not to mention he has had some of the worst defenses in the NFL in that time period. This "offensive guru" was literally average this year. His players don't seem to care very much that he was fired and that speaks volumes to him as a coach IMO.

Maybe his offense plays at a tempo that's unrealistic for success because it puts too much strain on a defense? Why does everyone assume that Dick LeBeau would stay because we hire Kelly? He has already proven that he is power hungry and would most definitely want to bring in his own coordinators, and I have a feeling it would be the same guys he had in Philly, for the most part.

If Chip Kelly came here, McCluster would be our feature back because he is the only one that can run in his style of system. His system is a zone blocking scheme that is designed for cut back lanes. Maybe Sankey could do it, but our offensive line is much worse than what Philly had this year. He doesn't adapt his system to his players, and we saw how that worked with KW.

 

As long as it's not with the Titans I don't care.

Sam Bradford even admitted in a press conference that the offense was basic and predictable. . . Again, his offense has gotten worse every single season.

 

Chip Kelly has a high scoring offense with Nick Foles, and Mark Sanchez as his QB and he is a genius.

Hue Jackson has the 6th best scoring offense in football with Jason Campbell as his QB and it's "boring". . . Makes sense.

 

Kelly needs 3 years of therapy before he can coach millionaire grown men from urban and various backgrounds. I'll take him as OC though lol.

 

When a head coach is fired after only three years it is a sign he never should have been hired in the first place.
