Just incase Chip Kelly does end up being the Titans coach next season, I keep trying to read up on him. I am watching Philly games from this year, to find some reason for optimism.

I started out on the fringe. He wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't mind Kelly coming here. Now the further I read into him and the more of Philly I watch, the more I hate the idea of him coming here.

Ain't no 3 and out party like a Chip Kelly 3 and out party cause a Chip Kelly 3 and out party only takes 45 ****ing seconds.

No wonder his defenses are so trash, the moment they take a seat to get a breather, you got the DC yelling at you to put your helmet on and get back on the field.

In 1994 the oilers switched from the extreme passing game of the run and shoot to a power running offense. About as big a change as can be made.

Yes, I know that college and the NFL are different. But getting along with people and people liking you is something that transcends pretty much any field. What I am saying is that he can be a likable guy and earn the respect of players. And I agreed that he didn't do well adjusting to working with NFL players. But I wouldn't conclude that he can't learn from this and adjust how he approaches and works with them. That is why I said this would be an issue I addressed in the interview process and make sure you felt good with his plan moving forward. If he says I wouldn't change a thing, then you have a major problem and you don't hire him.

On the McCoy trade, they saved 7.8 mill in trading him and bringing in Alonzo. That money then went to signing Murray and Matthews. So I am sorry, I was wrong about 3 for the price of one. But by trading McCoy they were able to bring in 2 RBs for what they would have been spending to get by keeping McCoy. From a salary cap perspective, that was a good move, and many people at the time liked it. Did it work out? No because Murray did not produce as well as people hoped, and Alonzo was hurt much of the year. It didn't work, but at the time of the trade, many saw the logic in it and thought it was a good move.

Its all about the QB. Everyone's a 3 and out party without a good QB. See Mett.

I think the issue is McCoy and DeJackson were malcontents who were splitting the locker room. Their egos were not willing to buy in due to their previous individual success. As a coach you have no choice but to get rid of them. That's why I think he would have more success here. He has his QB and no star players with big egos.
