Ruston's contract expires!!

I'm surprised how much credit you give PK. I'm not convinced he is that smart, hahaha.

 

I think PK actually has a point on this one. I rarely agree with him on anything. However, no one was bold enough with in the structure of the teams' front office to fire Whiz. She stepped up and made the call that NEEDED to be made. It was obvious that if it was left to Underwood and Webster, Whiz would still be on the side lines.

From what I have heard about her she has been at every game. I do not know that; just going off the reports. I wish ownership was more open about what is going on with the team. I wish there was more communication to the fans. However, I think they are serious about not selling. At least not in the very near future. They have a profitable business with this team. I don't think they will sell until they see that they are going to lose some money; or the team is no longer worth the hassle to them.

Maybe she can open the checkbook this year. Maybe she brings in a new GM with a good eye for talent and a HC that can actually coach. At this point those changes are all we have to look forward to anytime soon.

 

I just hope we get some news on Monday

Every week the Ttians do a "Take Aways" video on the titansonline team site. This week the entire video was about free agents and draft picks Webster has brought in. They went on about the players that "play great" yet did not discuss any that have had bad seasons.

The video is an obvious plea and endorsement for Webster. I pray the Titans are not trying to put out a positive spin on keeping Webster. I know it may be just a knee jerk over reaction to a post; but it is obvious to me that they are showing only his good selling points. Link is below. Maybe it is just a look back at why we should stay positive. However, Webster looked awfully comfortable for a guy with an expiring contract and very poor performance.

I hope Monday brings the good news most of us have been waiting for & Webster is GONE!!

I saw that as well. I took it as trying to give fans something to be optimistic about during these dark days. If they really wanted fans to optimistic though, they should've had on AAS as a special guest and fired that bum on air lol.

 

Really really hard to spin webster. He reaches for players in every draft. He has no clue on how to draft running backs, other teams get them as UDFA. But he does draft fullbacks, that we seldom use, in the 4th round. Webster is one turd that is just hard to polish
