    Underwood just said they will "look internally first" for both open positions. Said "this organization has a long history of doing that." LOL yeah, this organization also has a long history of being terrible. Maybe it's time to stray from the norm?

    Underwood saying the Titans will have a "traditional" GM-HC split is music to my ears.

    Build the structure the proper way. Hire a GM, then let him direct the search for a HC.

    Quick recap of Underwood's press conference:

    • Underwood has much respect for Webster. Wished him the best.

    • Have identified both GM and HC candidates—both internal and external.

    • Starting interviews within the next 48 hours. No timetable to make a hire.

    • Floyd Reese isn’t on the GM list.

    • Don’t feel hiring a GM first is important.

    • Will not consider a HC/GM combo.

    • AAS, Kenneth and a VP will be a part of the interview along with Underwood.

    • Have researched 80 candidates for GM. 14 finalists for GM. 155 HC candidates. Narrowing down that list now.

    • Mularkey is being considered.

    • HC needs to have been successful at a high level.

    • Titans are not for sale.
