Rumor We are keeping Mularkey?

It's gonna be really, really, really tough to keep supporting this team if they retain Mularkey. I guess at least if they are planning on selling we will all be better off in the long run.

But as a fan I just hate this constant feeling that we are SO FAR away from being a contender. Most fans of bad/underperforming teams can at least say "maybe next year." But with the Titans it's more like "maybe in two years." And yet we just keep on sucking balls, year after year. It's like the FO always think a little change here and a little change there is going to right the ship.

BLOW. IT. UP.

GM, HC, entire coaching staff, cut the players who are only in it for a paycheck. Let's build this thing the right way for once.

 

If they hire Mularkey, at least I'll still be able to get a ticket on StubHub for 20 bucks.

 

I would like to hear Mularkey explain why he thinks he should get the job.

 

And them asking players about Mularkey is so biased. They want their jobs next year. To me if want your job play like it. Man up and do your job.

 

No you dont, youd fall for his pitch, he's a solid football coach who can teach you 100 things. We need to stick to the cold truth, he simply hasn't won enough games to show he's worth rolling with.

 

The last game against the Texans was just awful. Worse game of the year. That game should have ended the Mularkey For HC thought.

 

I'm totally going with wins and losses, but I want to hear the spin he has ready to persuade others in his favor.

 

Anywhere he has been. IMO, He's not the best man for the job. And if they hire him they will be doing this again shortly. But that might be ok if you are working under the assumption it won't be our problem it will be the new ownerships.

I can only think of a couple reasons why they would keep him. 1. Just being absolutely clueless. 2. They are in fact positioning to sell and are trying to keep costs low. And all this 'search' is to give the appearance to the fans they do care for ticket sales and business aspect of it.

 

could be, but they are still paying Whiz $5M a year for 3 more years. Thats an expensive decision they made firing him.

 

Whatever it is, I might be 2000 miles away but I'm fully ready to hammer the hell out of them for making the decision for staying in house! It has no biz in happening.
