Pacman definitely still knows how to make it rain.

 

Watching the highlights, the refs ****ed up. The penalty on Burficts I kan understand, although in replay the receiver clearly ducks his head (ie not defenseless). The non-call on Porter illegally being on the field and a ticky-tack call on Jones were just brutal.

 

Wow, how the **** did the officials also miss the blatant spearing by Shazier? That should have nullified the fumble.

Seems to have been a bad game all around for the officials. Scary to also see Mike Pereira's twitter. Guy was head of officiating not long ago, but didn't realize Shazier's hit was illegal until someone pointed out it's illegal to lead with the crown of the helmet....

 

It has happened at least once before. A group got together and bought 5 million of 7.5 in Virginia. The risk is sharing the win. Many times these things have become huge, there are multiple winners. I can't believe this is at a billion now. Buyers came out of Australia with 2500 investors. I could link, but it is time for bed, and I do not have a winning ticket...... 10 bucks down the tubes.

 

First choice is 30 year annuity of payments or cash buyout. Assuming you invest a large chunk and make normal rates of return, cash buyout is a better deal than annuity. (If you are bad with managing money, then annuity would be way to go).

Cash buyout estimate is 800. Then you are taxed at highest federal income tax level which is 39%. That would leave about 580. Then you would be taxed at New York State income tax levels which is approx 10%. So then you are left with approx 500.

Also you can't avoid those taxes if you take annuity, it's just spread over time. Even if you relocate states you generally get taxed on income you received while residing in state you lived in when you won.

You could buy 25-35% of titans, but then you'd be back to the cash you have now.

I didn't do math to see if your measurement of 400 mill winning combinations is correct. Assuming it is, yeah you could buy every combo and net an extra 100 million, unless somebody else has a winning combo. Then you would net lose money. Oh and powerball tix are $2 so never mind it would cost you 800 mil to buy each combo so you'd lose no matter what.

 

Yeah, the Munchak thing was unbelievable. The last person on earth I guessing does that. Maybe they fire him and we get him back as an O-line coach

Didn't they flag Munchak? I didn't see the game but it seems like the refs failed miserably. Not saying they did or didn't give the Steelers the victory, just that they apparently were awful.
