Titans making a crucial mistake...again!

That the "brain Trusts" are even considering Mularkey says they are hell bent upon pissing me off.

 

The sense of urgency comes from the fact that we were one of the first teams to fire our coach. It should have been clear webster was gone, so we should have had months to get a list together. All the time we have had and the fact I have seen the names mularkey, shula, and marrone trouble me.

 

Not to mention getting rid of webster...that could and should have been announced before his contract was up. I don't think that would be a legal issue.

 

We are only hearing news from the "insiders" and the titans are one of the leadt covered teams. I've said this before, but just because there isn't "news" doesn't mean things aren't happening. For all we know we have a shortlist of 2 or 3 names for gm and those gms have a shortlist of coaches they'd want to hire. Fans freak out way to easily in this social media age. Hires like this should take take weeks, not days. I highly doubt the fo is sitting on the beach watching girls walk by, just praying that a gm will call them.

 

Saw where Jimmy Haslam isn't present at the owners meetings because he's pursuing Hue. Sending his wife to represent the Browns. Wish we could do the same with one of our members of the ownership group. Let AAS and Underwood hammer out a deal with a GM and begin this search. At this point I'm going to be very upset if we don't at least talk with Hue. No excuse. It's starting to look more and more like McDaniels or bust. I'm fine with McDaniels, but it'd be nice for ownership to least act like they give a **** about the HC search.

 

Yes, why in the world would anyone want to hire a million(s) dollar a year employee on a couple of days without interviewing as many candidates as possible? I am in full agreement. They should take their time and hire the best possible candidate.

 

If I'm not mistaken I believe the Titans are the only team with an open GM roll. Whether we hire someone quickly or not that will probably be impacted by that anyway.

Titans were hot out the gate last time and we got Whisenhunt. Calm down people.

AAS has made nothing but good moves so far, there is no reason why we shouldn't trust her right now.

 

Not so sure about this. Seems the ownerships decisions are actually changing from the trends of the past. I guess is the coach they want is still coaching in the playoff and after that teams exit, we will know how our coach is shortly afterward.
