What would you do with $1.5B?

    Plane and yacht with a hired pilot and captain.

    Houses and land in multiple spots.

    Open up a sports bar and grill. Best wings, pizza and cheesesticks on the planet and the coldest beer to wash them down.

    Take care of family and friends.

    Hire someone to wisely invest my money so im not broke in 5 years.

    Travel.

    Then probably gamble and blow the rest on crazy ****.

    And still have plenty left over...

    so I read something this morning that said depending which state youre in, tonight's winnings could potentially be as low as $500M if you took the lump sum..

    Yeah lump sum is the stupid way to take it. I don't know how anyone could need 500 million or more right away.

    well what if you pass away before youre fully paid off? does your family inherit your winnings?

    Im not sure they would, so a lump sum so would be the way to go for an older person..

    When the PB hits a billion it should start being divided into multiple draws of 500mil. Any single ticket purchased would apply to all drawings that weekend.

    So tonight you'd get three chances to win 500mil for each ticket you bought.

    It's crazy how much money the government makes off of the lottery if they're willing to give away 1.5 billion dollars of the income.

    What's crazy is how much hard earned cash people throw at Powerball and scratchies. And it's mostly folks who can't even start to afford this ruse...

    Maybe somebody knows the daily amount spent on this nationwide?
