@AdamSchefter: Browns HC Hue Jackson targeting Tennessee's Ray Horton as his DC, but uncertain whether Titans will grant permission to leave, per source.

Horton was just in Cleveland three years ago. I wonder he'd go back?

 

I think if we deny Cleveland's request then it's another arrow pointing towards keeping Mularkey.

I am actually starting to think Marrone would be a good hire. I know it probably wouldn't be a super popular choice but at this point my expectations are low.

Of three to interview no are a popular hire. I would pick Marrone over Mularkey the way our team laid down last few games.

 

I think at this point it's good if we don't hear about a HC hire through the weekend. That would mean they are holding out for someone right?

 

Mawae said he would consider coaching O-line if Titans hired Marrone. Plus he would bring Schwartz in as DC (I understand that would involve switching schemes.)

All better than Mularkey.

 

Just a weird idea: Marrone as HC and Mukarkey as OC? Sounds crazy yes but might work. Marrone was an OL coach at one time I think . Better than Mularkey as HC
