OK I get protecting MM8 and agree that keeping him upright is important. However, something people are starting to lose sight of is that this is a team sport. At some point the team HAS to be concerned with scoring points. That means that Marcus is gonna have to stand up and make some passes & take some hits. This is not 2 hand touch. It's a rough sport. I understand that protecting him and keeping him going for a full season is very important to success. However, if they are so scared of getting him hurt that they think he cannot be played in a regular offense; that is VERY concerning to me.

So, can someone explain the whole forcing to sell thing? Can the NFL do that? What is the likelihood?

I'm just ******* depressed right now... I mean, seriously? They couldn't even wait to make it look like a legit process?

Sorry guys, I'm late and just found out about this now - figured I'd take a break from Titan news to try and gather my thoughts after another disappointing and dreadful year. You know take a step back to try and find that drive to keep believing that next year will be better...

I turn around and find this? What a ******* nightmare of an organization.

I mean you got time, if you want interview some people after the playoffs, and if you still feel he's the best, by all means hire him. I'd be able to get on board with that (eventually, I guess)... But this bull**** is just insane.

Fans should boycott the stadium... Actually, scratch that, they should be there vandalizing the **** out of it right now. This is unacceptable.

It has to do with percentage of ownership. Titans and their lawyers think they meet criteria, NFL does not. After reading the small amount of material available, it appears the NFL does not have a case in my opinion.

This is very unfortunate. I wish there was something we could do. I have a feeling Titans' fans will not be unified or motivated enough to actually boycott in some sort of way.

    5 more take aways

    1) take away chance of being a play off team
    2) take away enthusiasm and hope
    3) take away international approval of most decisions up to the Mularkey hire
    4) take away advance ticket sale increase
    5) take away decent nights sleep for several days (do add irritable bowels syndrome)

Yeah I have. I get the feeling he knows it's a terrible hire. He just can't come out and say it because he's on the payroll.

The oddest thing about them not waiting until after the playoffs is.... Mularkey would still be there. Not like anyone else was hiring or would want him if they were.

Whole thing is just a cluster-f*ck of ineptitude.
