Bosa Time

Cool story. Off topic, but lived in Limerick for a year and loved Adare and Adare Manor/Castle--was there several times. Glad you got to go man. Loved my time there.

 

To be honest... I never want us to see this twice a year.... (That's what likely will happen... JAX An extreme possibility if San Diego passes on him.)

 

still dont know what you think you see in Bosa. Sure he beats his man off the block, but then he doesnt make many plays... Whats the point of that?

 

He beats his block (many times 2-3 blocks at a time) to make a impact TFL.
I pray to god you notice how he drives offensive linemen into the QB. And if he frees up into the backfield, his shear presence is a pass timer disrupter.

 

I see 2-3 guys committed to him at times but I dont often see him beating 2-3 guys

 

So JJ Watt was a bad pick for the Texans? He was a 4-3 end at Wisconsin.

I'm not sold on Bosa as the #1 pick. He's not as physically dominant as Watt but the transition to a different defense should not matter at all.

I can't think of any stud player who has been hindered by his system. It seemed absurd to take a 290 lb 30 something Julius Peppers and stands him up as a 3-4 OLB but he has been a great asset to the packers.

I want to see his workout before i would want us to use that pick on him. Watt had an insane cone time, a better cone time in fact that the top CB and WR taken. He also lifted 37 times. Watt's workout was insane. Let's see how Bosa stacks up.

One scouting report said that Bosa was physically more like Ryan Kerrigan than JJ Watt. We will see.

And you just proved.exactly why I'm sold.on bosa.... Presence. Draws multiple ol, which by the law of average will free up else points.
