Has a franchise ever changed their mind on a HC hire? Will Robinson actually have draft/FA power?

    Yeah I agree with this. Putting my own anguish aside for a minute, Robinson is really in a pretty good position (for his own benefit) at this point. No place to go but up, #1 pick, franchise QB in place, and plausible deniability on the HC (no responsibility for next season's on field performance).

    I will be very curious about our draft this year. If we start killing it in the draft we may be able to overcome the HC issue for a couple of seasons.

    Overly hopeful admittedly, but that is really all that I have at this point.

    This was the logic I was using. I expect he'll have the control, but not getting to choose your own HC is questionable.

    Only way I know of is to show them with your wallet. But the only way that actually works is if the entire fanbase does it.

    A book should be run on how long Mularkey lasts, I give it 7 games before 1. The management see sense 2. Mularkey walks due to pressure from fans and bad media coverage.
    You know titan fans will be interviewed by the media if things get off to a bad start.

    Seriously..how did we manage to screw this up. Get a solid HC and bam we're good. They probably didn't want to spend money given they already owe this guy money.

    Mularkey quit in Buffalo because of media and fan pressure. If we drive enough negativity at him he might quit this time next year.
