Things I took from this joke of a presser

1. Mularkey is a qb whisperer.......................I nearly puked (he did wonders with Gabbert and drafted J.P Losman) 18-39 whispers the L
2. Underwood not understanding why PSL holders upset with process............. you had 100 names and interviewed 4 of them, and you hire someone no other nfl team would have given a coordinator job too, and he wonders why folks upset?
3. Mularkey sort of saying, it is not all about winning.................that is obvious
4. Robinson saying we are going to make changes to the way we scout and draft but we are not doing that until after the draft..............Really?
5. We are not going to over pay players...................When you hire Mularkey and have this bunch running the team you will have to overpay because no chance of winning.
6. The arrogance of Underwood, whom you would have thought we were the Patriots not the browns/titans
7. Robiskie not hired yet we are in the interview process..........code for you are hired Chris Palmer
8. The team is not for sale.....................................For us to ever win the team must be sold!
9. A.S.S. ................... wouldn't even show up and try to sell us this load of Mularkey

 

That's standard.

It's nearly impossible to replace an entire scout team one month from the scouting combine.

 

I doubt anyone would replace them all but saying your not going to do anything until after the draft, is almost like an excuse for another stellar titans draft. I just hope robinson makes every pick and it has nothing to do with the rest of them, at least that would be new and different.

 

I don't know what to tell you. It's standard when a new GM takes over. The reporter even asked the question phrasing it with, "I know you can't make changes until after the draft.."

That's just when it's done. I can promise you it wasn't related to how they perceived their drafts three days after they concluded.

 

...however I do have a short-list of 155 others to consider.

Anyone criticizing Robinson is crazy. He's not a politician, he's a real worker. Not a rah rah in front of the camera guy. I firmly believed he was the best GM candidate. Glad we landed him.

Underwood is a total moron and is in WAY over his head.

I don't like the Mularkey hire at all, but it is what it is, let's give him a chance.

You know what's keeping me sane? Bill Belicheck couldn't bring this roster to the playoffs. We need to start stacking talent period, regardless of who the coach is. I believe Robinson is the man to turn this roster around.

Just like players need to be put in situations to succeed, so do coaches. It's on Robinson to add the talent, and I think he'll do that.
