    Mularkey is on 104.5 the zone right now....
    says he isnt set in stone for a 3-4 defense, says Lebaue is expected to be back

    Mularkey on The Zone just now:

    New staff and system coming. Going to work hard. System will be designed to the talents of the players. Pointed to other coaches who didn't see success early as a HC only to have it when given another chance.

    Interim job was a real challenge. Wanted to change culture but couldn't make a lot of changes. Will moving forward. Players saw how Mularkey wanted to make them successful.

    Feels there is good leadership on the roster now. They bought into Mularkey's philosophy. Felt the players played hard.

    LeBeau very likely to return.

    Identity for this team is playing smart and playing physical. Got better with penalties as the season wore on. Held players accountable.

    No one hired yet but a lot of new coaches coming in for interviews.

    Said Robinson had a good evaluation of the current roster. In line with his own as to what needs to be improved upon.

    Said the Morgan injury was a big factor on defense last year as were others.

    Does not read fan opinion but had family members tell him about how unhappy fans were. Believes in what he can do and will do.

    I hope we are all wrong about MM. Would like for him to succeed. I hope he can turn this team around like he seems to think he can. I'm over being angry about the hire, nothing we can do about it anyway. Might as well get on board and give him some support.

    I'm sorry I have yet to get on board with this. Whether it's successful or not who knows, but what AAS and underwood failed to realize is that Mularkey is the absolute worst fit for this team. That's because he has failed twice at this same situation we are in now. Turning a losing franchise into a winner. He failed TWO times at doing that. I don't care that he wasn't in the best situation to begin with because no new coach is ever in the best situation starting out. There is a reason why the head coaching vacancy is open. Instead ownership felt it was best to give us a guy that has proven he isn't the perfect fit that can handle that task.
