Expectations for DGB

I won't go as far as to say DGB will become something untouchable, but I believe he has a solid year in 16. I will save his optimism for year 3 & 4.

He had some rookie mistakes , but when he was on it was great to see. I don't remember us having a large rookie WR with this much potential. It can't hurt that our new OC has a track record with WR's.

 

Hopefully he just doesn't do anything really stupid like he did at Mizzou.

 

To get picked for the pro bowl, so the titans don't look mugs like this year having no representatives. The browns even managed to get some players picked, how embarrassing is that. Oh yeah and maybe clocking up around 800 yards as a minimum would be nice and at least the NFL average of 6 TD for a WR.

 

Yeah atleast once a game I'd say something along the lines "god dammit DGB". He did have the year off but still. Its really up to him how good he wants to be...

Luckily I think MM will make sure DGB is practicing hard and on the same page. I bet he drags him out several times in the preseason and they work together.

 

Well, it will be an entirely new offense according to Mularkey. The team was using a Whiz/Michaels offense and are switching to a Mularkey/Robiskie offense.

 

I expect @SawdustMan to quit bein lame and trade him to me in dynasty

 

Mariota 3800+ Yards and 25+ TDs

With that stat line DGB should get 1/4th of the yards and TDs with Wright/ Walker 1/2 and others getting the last 1/4

That puts DGB's stat line at 950 yards and 6+ TDs and around 70 receptions. Probably too light on the TDs. closer to 10 I think.

The Mularkey offense is built around TEs, Power Run game and play action #1 WR passes. Very traditional, but with good personnel very hard to stop. Whiz's was more of a spread the ball take what defense gives you offense. DGB will be fed in this one...

 

I expect him to get season MVP, Superbowl MVP. Anything less and he is out....

 

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger.
