Yeah we just need to get a top 5 D of the last decade like the Seahawks or Broncos. It'll be easy.

To replace losing Fasano in that scenario. I'm not sure if you noticed, but Supernaw is a little retarded.

I didn't read the article til now. Lol

But, I don't think its worth ditching Fasano for another old TE. Fasano had a few nice plays in the passing game. Not sure how his blocking was though.

whelp Celek resigned with the eagles, and to think THIS coaching staff would release their personal ambassador Harry Douglas is absurd. Real life isnt Madden, you cant just add up numbers and compile a list that seems cool. Alfred Morris is good, lets pay him this much and we get an 84 OVR running back in Madden. Robinson has a TB connection, so its not absurd to think they may try and get an experienced and successful running back, but the draft, personal relationships, and a lot of other factors come into play where its unrealistic to just throw out players and salaries and say this is what they should do.

we had a top 5 D for the better part of the first half of 2015, so yea we're not far off from having a D that can carry the rest of our team

Our biggest problem with our Defense is the back-end and depth at OLB. The sack numbers were there and so was the pressure, but once Morgan got hurt it plummeted.

McCourty hurt all year didn't help either.

Doesn't matter any more, Brent Celek just signed a 3 year extension.

Eagles signed TE Brent Celek to a three-year, $13 million extension through 2018.

The deal includes $6 million guaranteed. There was some speculation Celek would be cut after the Eagles locked up Zach Ertz to a big extension Monday, but he only had to wait a day to get his new deal. The two signings point to how important the tight end position will be in new coach Doug Pederson's offense. The Chiefs consistently used two tight ends while Pederson was in Kansas City, and Travis Kelce was a focal point of the passing offense. Ertz should be the pass-catching weapon in Philadelphia with Celek putting his blocking skills to work as the in-line option.

Can none of the other 6 TEs contribute?

Honestly, Fasano is the only other TE besides Delanie I remember doing anything. Maybe his blocking sucked, I honestly don't know. But is it so bad that he should be dumped for another old TE? I doubt it.
