Over the years I have hated on Manning like there's no tomorrow. However , if the Denver defense pulled it out of the hat I wouldn't begrudge him making Scam Newton look like a jerk. Maybe this is representative of how much I despise Newton and his theatrics.

Retire either way IMO...and yes, this game is more on their D than on him at this point. That said, at the end of Elway's career it was similar...Denver had picked up (finally) a strong running game and defense, and Elway was not carrying them like he had for most of his career.

As a Colt, I hated Manning, but I've always respected him. He is a student (and master) of the game, and a true professional. I'd like to see him win the SB, retire on top, and then assume a spot at the Titans table in some capacity.

He brought his family all onto the field after the AFC title game, his last home game. He brought his son onto the stage for his press conference.

He knows he's done after the Super Bowl no matter how it ends.

I don't like Manning. I hope he wins the superbowl and retires for his own sake.

All hinting towards a retirement sure, but its Manning, he was suppose to be done in 2011-2012 when his neck was messed up.

He will go down as the greatest Fantasy FB QB of all time, but don't spend a dollar betting on him in post season.

Denver's defense kept Brady out of the end zone; if not we would be having a different conversation here.

He does deserve going out a winner though...

Brady is only 1 year younger, but still has the same arm strength and seems a lot younger than Manning.

Manning has thrown over 2,000 more passes than Brady tho, wait til Brady is knocking on the door of 10,000 throws, he'll be shot too

Except all he ever said at that time was that he would be back.

He's not saying that now. It's clear to me this is it and he's not hiding it.

good point, but still, its Manning, walking away is going to nearly kill the guy, I think he might be back if he loses this game
