    Morgan/Jones?/Casey

    Spence/TBD/Williamson/Orakpo

But even at OSU Noah played DE in some 3-4 packages. He can play the run, so it really wouldn't matter.

Morgan is too good a OLB to move him to DE

But Spence is showing up in this senior bowl.. stock is rising

We need a third pass rusher. Orakpo and Morgan were playing a ridiculous amount of snaps last year. Then when Morgan went down it was essentially like watching 2013 and 2014 when we had one guy who couldn't do anything by himself.

    He's better than Bass.

$35 million. No seasons with over 6.5 sacks.

We def need another OLB. Not sure if that will be Spence or not, he might be gone in 1st round.

I still think Bosa is the highest ceiling guy, and if we don't get a trade down. I take Bosa

But we are so devoid of talent at STARTING POSITIONS on both sides of the ball, I dont know if we can afford the luxury of drafting depth with a high second round pic

Pass rushers are going to get on the field. Morgan and Orakpo playing 10 fewer snaps a game each with Noah taking their lost reps makes all of them better.

If we were talking the first pick in the first round then I would agree with you, but we're talking #33 here. Time to get the best players we can.

I'm just spit balling at this point about prospects I like too. I'm more than likely going to eliminate prospects as free agency comes and goes. I think if we address a couple of o-line spots, WR, and RB in free agency then people will be a lot more open to using these picks on defense.

I think we need more youth and athleticism on defense. For the love of god, Casey outran Griffin when they were trying to catch Brandon Marshall on that busted coverage.

But, a 3rd pass-rushing OLB isn't necessarily a matter of depth...although us having no depth behind Morgan hurt our defense considerably.

Look at Denver. Best defense in the league. They have Ware and Von Miller...but they drafted Shane Ray, whom many NFL draftnicks had going in the top 5 until he failed a drug test. The Texans have Watt, Clowney and Mercilus...3 1st Rd picks on pass rushers. It's part of what makes a good defense a great one.

So, we need a 3rd elite/solid pass rusher. I think Maggitt will be cleared medically by either the Combine or his Pro Day. The guy was headed for a 1st Rd selection before his injury (bone chip in his hip). He and Shawn Oakman, both had 11 sacks and similar numbers, in 2014. In comparison, Bosa had 14 sacks, just 3 more than Maggitt. Vic Beasley, a 1st Rd pick last year, had 12...just one more.

Our 3rd Rd pick is effectively a late 2nd Rd pick, and I'd take Oakman if he is there. If he isn't, I'd take Maggitt in the 4th. Either one of those would immediately upgrade our pass rush without the character concerns. Also, Noah Spense had 9 career sacks

    Maggitt had 13.5 career sacks:
