Fix the Offensive Line

When we had Mawae at center, he made plays. He often was called to pull and be the lead blocker around the end...he was able to get to the 2nd level and seal off the backside LBers. He was a play making center. I agree that if an OL is not getting his name called it is a good thing, but you can have play making OL.

Solidify the center spot with Mack...have your bookend tackles in Lewan and Tunsil and then let the guys we have fight it out for the OG spots...Warmack, Spain, Poutasi, Gallick...some cheap vet....that is my OL fix.

 

No, but it would help the other way around. An above average or good C will help out underachieving Guards. Mawae made Amano look serviceable. Once Mawae left, Amano was pure trash.

 

Bottom line, this O-Line can probably be fixed through coaching and FA. No need to spend another 1st Rd. pick on a T. Having said that; if we draft Tunsil at #1 I will probably throw the remote through the TV.

I would like Incognito a lot. Him and Lewan would make a great left side to our line. He has off field problems, but sounds like he is finally getting past that and with a good friend like Lewan next to him would be great. Sign him!
