my issue with this is you might as well shut down football at all levels period NFL is where the biggest and fastest play, but there are countless people getting trucked and pancaked in high schools/middle schools/pee wee's & colleges all across the USA not just an NFL problem
In the pee wee and high school range, much can be avoided by teaching proper tackling technique. Once they get to D1 schools, the hits become much more impactful, and tackling at some level isn't even practiced. It is a mans sport at that point and they all sign up for it. I wonder how the brains of NASCAR drivers fair in the long run. It would be interesting seeing some studies on that front with the wrecks those men endure over their careers. I would bet they would find the same type of brain trauma.
