    She kept Mularkey.

You're arguing that dog sh*t is better than cat sh*t.

I really want to buy in on AAS caring for Nashville and wanting to produce a winner. This video is obviously scripted but she seems likeable.

It's hard to buy into anything when we just heard them say how extensive the GM and HC coach was going to be and they do a total of 10 interviews.

Rushing the hire just so Mularkey can get top coordinators and position coaches ended up being BS too. None of these new hires were anyone who couldn't have been hired in March.

You don't deceive your fan base and then expect people to buy in.

I know what you mean, but I feel very confident AAS thinks fans are dumb enough to buy in.

I've thought about this more and have no doubt Mularkey was told the job was his well before his interview but they had to bring in someone to meet the Rooney rule.

To make the Rooney rule candidate not seem so obvious, they sprinkled in a couple of other candidates. It was just going through the motions as they knew they were going to give the job to Mularkey on Black Monday.

I bet, during the Mularkey interview, they ate lunch and talked about how they were going to spin it to make it look like they did some exhaustive research to reach their decision.

It was probably decided then that they better get a solid video going so they could have it ready to roll out well before the first bill hit PSL owner mailboxes.

Get ready for billboards soon with a determined AAS with her arms crossed and text something like "We are Hard at Work to Give You the Team That You Deserve" on it. Probably another with Robinson with "This is My Home and You are My Family" on it.

Exactly. Anyone with half a brain can see that the "search" was a complete sham. To try to spin it as this extensive process is a slap in the face to the fans. I would have rather them just come right out and said "We made this decision back in December. We believe in Mularkey and wanted to give him another chance." I doubt fan reaction would've been any better but at least you could give them credit for being open and honest.

It would have been better for me if they had something like that instead of the way it was done.

Eggs-actly. They must think we are too stupid to catch on. When Mularkey was handed the Interim HC job, it was reported that the Titans liked him a lot the last time the team searched for a HC. When Underwood gave his public spiel about the HC search, he also gave us a line of BS, saying that THEY ultimately weigh coaches by the standards of wins and losses. Then he went on to lay out the ground work for why they were going to ignore that standard and make excuse after excuse for Mularkey....just like they did for Whisenhunt.

Bottom line is this...the last HC search, they had their eye on two prospects, both with abysmal records as HC's and they ended up hiring both in succession. What's the old adage about insanity = doing the same thing over and over yet expecting different results? They are insane, and they are going to see how insanely uninterested this fanbase is with the product they keep putting out there.

And that is what sickens me! I understand they are a business, but this sport costs the fans a ton of money. If you want us to give a lot of money (speaking for all of the Titans ticket holders, not me), don't make the team stink and give us nonsense while saying we will do an exhaustive search and come up with the best candidates. A bunch of Mularkey!!!

If Mularkey was such a good candidate, how come no other team wanted to interview him???

So they want to kill my love for the team, ask you guys and gals to spend thousands and thousands of dollars a year...and you know what? We'll throw in a $50 coupon or rebate for something!!!

    No thanks!!!

Some of us fans aren't stupid and know what an exhaustive search is. And your HC search wasn't even on the map, let alone in the ballpark! And the team President doesn't even understand this contradiction and how it would irk the fans? The PR firm isn't doing a good enough job...or maybe they were hired AFTER the presser with Underwood!
