These rankings are arbitrary at best. You need to do better.

It can get bigger but I would not expect too much. MLS is a third tier league, at best, and not going to come close to the big four leagues any time soon.

And many American sports fans will have a hard time wrapping their heads around pro soccer. Starting with the fact that the league in the US is not close to being the top league.

Next is the fact that there are four top leagues with the second tier leagues being not too far off. Instead of there being one ultra dominant league and the rest being either feeder leagues or slave labor leagues loosely tied to educational institutions.

Then you have the fact that in soccer national teams are a big deal. And there is no draft to obsess over. All way too much to get used to.

I don't understand spam musubi or tofu cone sushi. It's the worst convenience store food ever.

It amazes me the amount of people who are naive to what I'm saying. Soccer has been around for ages. It is nothing special in the United States. It will not be anytime soon, anyone who thinks kickball will overtake American football or baseball or basketball in the U.S. in the next decade is a full blown fukin moron. Feel free to quote me on this then. It will be a good laugh. Smh

Lol arbitrary? Do better? Haha it's laughable. The fact that soccer is eighth on this list speaks for itself. Nobody cares in the U.S. unless it's the World Cup, even then it's a stretch, if they lose its no biggie. If you and anyone else is too naive to realize this I hate it for you but it's the truth.

Atlanta? That says a lot lol. We will see where kickball is in five years and where other sports are in this country. It's a joke for people to think "soccer" is relevant in the U.S. Outside of the World Cup that occurs once every handful of years, even then it's a stretch to say it's much of a big deal to the majority of the United States.

Well if hockey can take off, I'd be hesitant to be so bold on a stance on soccer. I'm not even a fan, but if the entire world loves it I'd be willing to bet interest spikes drastically in 2017.

Hate on it all you want but look real ****, soccer is not **** in the U.S. Lie to yourself if it makes you feel better about it. Bottom line, the United States has seen soccer, they've witnessed soccer, they do not care. Sure they want the U.S National team to win, like ten Titans said but if they don't, who cares? It's not the national sport and it doesn't make a hill of beans if they lose, if they win then great., if not then it's no big deal. People in the United States care about: U.S. Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and MMA. It's as simple as that.

Interesting reading this. My stance is that the NFL as we know and love it has about 20 years left of being the dominate sport in America. Demographics, legal troubles (CTE settlement is just the beginning), and it being basically turned into a 7 on 7 passing league will kill it off...slowly.

CTE is going to be the death of the NFL. Just the shakiness of what the NFL has done to cover it up is alarming.
