Holy sh*t! I am watching Pawn Stars and a dude walks in with 91' Topps complete set- for Desert Shield Troops only. Each soldier got 1 pack. First card in this man's set is a Nolan Ryan........... THAT I DO NOT HAVE! I have sweats now and high blood pressure. I never knew about it. What a rare set and a lot of work it must have taken to put together. He is asking $8,000. I just want the Ryan.......

Only one card that I can find, it is card #1. Fitting for the Express. I will purchase one very soon. Best price so far $110.

I'll see if I can dig them up soon. As I said, they're probably nothing special... I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I come up with anything.

Pretty sure he said all the cards were shipped back to the base after the war and by that time the owners had mostly left the service. They turned around and sold them... I'm assuming as complete sets.

I don't remember what they ended up being valued at or what he got for them though.
