@Gut and @JCBRAVE dropping it nicely. In my eyes, until the combine, it looks like Tunsil or Ramsey. I just can't see Bosa here (just not a fit). Most likely Tunsil, but I think it is a mistake, for reasons that Gut has already mentioned in other threads. I mentioned Bosa being light, and was hammered for it, glad Gut backed that sentiment up. Players have outplayed short comings like that before. It is no secret that I would like to see the versatility that Ramsey could bring to this team, and I also know that the likelihood of drafting him at #1 is a pipe dream. We need to trade with Dallas- and I do not see that happening.......

I'm fully expecting us to draft Tunsil, so it's largely a moot point with me, as to whether we would take Bosa. Only way that happens is if we score one of the premiere OT's in FA...even then, Tunsil is probably better than any one of them and will be much younger and cheaper. Bosa wouldn't be such a consensus No.1 overall best player if he were only a fit for DE in a 4/3 scheme.

There are plenty of teams who play a base 4/3 but often change it up to run out of a 3/4 look. UT did that the past 2 years with Curt Maggitt playing as the pass-rushing OLB. So, that may explain why they think he is scheme versatile...he may have played some in 3/4 packages

    Now Ramsey of
WOW, now Jalen Ramsey of 3 INTs and 3 kick/punts fielded TOTAL, is the upgraded version of Charles Woodson? The Heisman winner, part time offensive player, owner of over 45 INTs?

You guys sure don't have a problem hyping Ramsey up, all the while denigrating Tunsil/Bosa.

That's because the more of Bosa I see the worse he looks

32 teams didn't draft the kid. Nobody wanted to deal with the potential PR nightmare after the NFL started coming down on these things. I have a feeling Goodell told the 32 teams that nobody draft the kid imo.

Which tackle from the last draft was decent? Even third round? They've all been completely terrible.

I agree JWill. I like Ramsey a lot, and I hope we get him (ideally trade back), but how can you argue Tunsil...Dude is phenomenal. It just sucks because we need playmakers and we have drafted top linemen with little results the past few years. Ya know?

Yeah, we have invested heavily on OL and didn't get what we wanted. Hopefully it was coaching

We can't get the ball to the playmakers, or open holes for them without a good RT. That positional void was the greatest reason this team is picking first. If Poutasi had panned out, we probably win several more games this year. That's how bad it was. It was a bit of a gamble and we lost our shirt because of it.

Some of it had to be. Part of it was impatience with Oher. He was playing with injuries (torn biceps and foot injury) and we judged him based on his playing hurt. Then he goes to the Panthers and plays well enough to help get them to the SB. And he played LT...the most scrutinized spot on the OL. Granted Ware and Von Miller did a number on the Panther's OT's but they played well enough to get them to the big dance.
