Robinson and Mularkey talk to media at combine

    Robinson came from the Patriots, who seem to excel at both. Or at least they know how to maximize value from the money they invest. I would love to see a similar approach here. It is going to take a few years (and hopefully a transition away from mediocre on field coaches who have a good relationship with ownership), but some of these moves are giving me some hope back as well.

    But that's the point. Simply cutting a player does not make your team better. You have to add a better replacement as well, and that's not a guarantee. If we get somebody who is worse than Griffin, then cutting him would have actually hurt us.

    Did they even offer him to take a pay cut to stay? I don't think they did, which clearly indicates they didn't feel his level of play was wanted or needed.

    Unless the guy is already on the roster and can match the outgoing players output. Which is possible. THEN it is addition by subtraction.

    Poutasi was drafted to play Guard! Period. they were just tryiny him out at RT.
    The scout that got him said that last year.;-)))
