Bosa ran faster than Watt, so there's that.

Well if the NFL agrees to supply Bosa with roids like they do for Watt, he'd work his way into a 3-4 DE nicely.

With his success, and since we are running his defense; I would bet that Lebeau would have a heavy influence in this decision (if we plan on going defense in round 1). He knows what LB characteristics work in his system, same can be said for the d lineman. I'm not sure about his skills with the secondary besides Troy being a stud!

The man is religious with his studies (when he first got hired he went through every defensive play multiple times so that he could focus on one player every time. Thats watching 1 game 11 times at the very least.

He can identify where we need to upgrade and what players will fit the scheme best.

First of all i could give a rat's butt about "touted". To say i never watched his "tape" is stupid i posted an entire game of his against Virginia did you see that?

As i said i thought he was an edge player because people were comparing him to edge 3-4 OLBs.

He is not versatile he is an ILB only in our scheme. The fact he doesn't come off the field in nickel is great but how is he worth a super high pick?

I named a current nfl player to compare him to, Kuechly. At this point he is not at the level of that player.

You have done nothing to make a case for this guy. Generalized comments like "versatile". Versatile how?

Make your case for how this guy is worth the 1st pick in the whole draft!

This guy is a hall of fame player. This is the standard you compare a guy like Myles Jack to. Jack doesn't even compare to this guy!

Dee said Jack is at least the 2nd best player in this entire draft. In his last healthy season he didn't have 100 tackles and he is coming off of knee surgery.

What moron would use a top pick on that?

    Zach brown(2011) vs Myles Jack(2014)...

    Tackles
    Brown 105
    Jack 87

    TFL
    Brown 13.5
    Jack 8

    Sacks
    Brown 5.5
    Jack 1

You can't say Jack is faster Brown was the 60 meter sprint champ at UNC and they are identical in size.

If Jack is such a dominant player that you would consider him for the top pick why not more impact plays behind the LOS? I expected to see a guy blowing people up in the back field. 8 tfl and one sack?

In the Virginia game he blitzes several times. Why would a superior athlete only have one sack in his entire career of 29 games? You can get easy sacks when nobody blocks you!

Ok so based on that you would take him #1? Allen averaged 12 sacks a season for 10 years!

According to nfl draft scout Allen ran a 4.70 40 with a better 10 yard split than Bosa.

Jack is more of an athletic freak, rather than a weekly highlight reel (like Reggie Ragland for example). He doesn't have as much experience at the position as the normal LB coming out of college, so comparing straight statistics isn't a great way to judge him.

That being said, at his size I don't feel he's scheme versatile. And he is quite raw. Talent wise, he's probably in the discussion for top 2 or 3 overall players. But there is definitely a good amount of risk with him. Personally, I'd rather wait and take a shot on Scooby Wright in the 2nd or 3rd if he fall that far. He'd likely have been a top 10 lock if not for injuries last year.

Scooby Wright in the 2nd or even 3rd would make me throw up in my mouth. 80-100 range.
