It stings twice as long when you miss on the hometown guy.

Hew can't play both positions simultaneously! Who wants to use a #1 for Gilmore?

This list is a bit whacked looking at 20/20 hindsight but before the last nfl season they ranked Gilmore as the 27th best DB.

If we draft Ramsey and play him at CB and he is just good, not great we didn't get the value we needed on that first pick.

That logic goes with any player drafted 1st overall

Remember what Robinson and Mularkey preached in what they wanted out of a player?. Team first attitude, accountability, tough physical, embracing being a tenn titan. I can't think of a better prospect that fits that description than Ramsey in this draft class.

lol... explain how Ramsey does it better than bosa or better than tunsil or better than any other draft player? they all fit the description, it's about who offers a face of the franchise, and that's why I don't want to get a tackle number 1.

I think Tunsil and Bosa are both fully developed as football players, I dont imagine either of them getting much better than they are now. And Bosa is too slow to guarantee 10 sacks a year in the NFL, he's not No.1 material. Tunsil is but he's a Tackle and I hate drafting linemen in the 1st round, so boring.

People say you dont take CB's No.1 overall, but he's very likely to give you 10+ years of service with ease. And when he finally does begin to wear down you move him to FS where it takes less talent to be great. Most CB's arent physical enough to make the move but you already know he is. Youre getting a 2 for 1 deal here, maybe plays 15 years. Thats worthy a No.1 pick to me.

    Ramsey FTW!

Bosa didn't play hard last year. It was pretty evident. He was jogging after the ball instead of trying to run down the line to make the TFL. Bosa was also suspended for a failed drug test in 2015. Add in the fact that he is not an explosive athlete and he isn't playing OLB here. We're going to spend #1 on a 3-4 DE, which is probably the deepest spot on this team?

Tunsil, man, I don't know how his red flags are glossed over the way they are. Got arrested for getting into a fight with his step dad. Suspended seven games for illegal benefits. Broken leg as a junior. According to Nkemdichi, Tunsil was with him when he fell out of the window.

We already have the face of the franchise, so I don't see how that should really factor in to things.
