They can all bl#$ me.....End of the day, we didn't give up a lot to get him and we needed experience and a reliable back. Lets not forget, he was in a crap system last year...and barely used his legs. Dude could easily ball out with that extra rest and being only 28...It's a win win for both teams.

This is exactly what BB and the Pats did when they acquired LeGarrette Blount from Tampa Bay.
Short memory Jwill? Or just a brain fart?

As long as as he stays healthy, this is a good idea. He can pass protect and can also catch the ball. (Reliable dump off/check down)

Let him carry the load while Mariota improves. After a couple years, hopefully Mariota will improve enough to carry the team.

But Evan Silva fails to mention how he actually got better last season as the season went on. Did you know after week 3 Murray averaged 4 yards a carry? Did you know Murray was 15/15 100% on 3rd and 4th down with less than 3 yards to go? He was in a different system and didn't get any carries but he proved himself late in the year.

I think you're the one being pretty negative about it to be honest. Try to find the positives not the negatives and you'll have a much better time at life hombre.

LOL you literally rate every one of my posts bull****.

Here's some better advice: don't worry so much about what other people think.

Might as well just fold up the tent with the attitude of people on this board. Listen, we have a new GM and new coach not to mention some promising young players on the roster. Without playing a single game what I can say about Murry is along with Robinson and Mularky, they ALL want to be here. How long has it been since anyone has said that? If Murry sucks, Robinson proves he has no clue and Mularky turns out to be who we all think he is fine. Until then, let's not set fire to our own house.

It's really not that bad Jwill...They didn't give up much to get him....he had a soft year last year with very few carries, he brings experience and veteran presence to help Marcus, some buzz and attraction for other players, and more importantly, he is better than any draft pick or current RB on our roster by far.........How can anyone be mad at this....If they don't go make moves, everyone complains....They make a move....everyone complains.
