Price you pay for the top FA QB in the NFL in 2016.
I don't like the price but the Texans had $$$$ to spend.
Lets face it. The team that won the Division just improved at QB and RB.

The also played 4 games against 2 of the worst teams in the NFL and then 2 more against the Luck less Colts.

Can't get much worse at QB. So that is true. I just think the Texans will regret that contract in a big way.. But they really have no other options. What else could they do, another draft pick gamble, RG3, or Kaepernick who is off the rails?

I think it's a ludicrous move, but it's the only thing they could do, to get a young QB with some potential.

You tell me. Would you rather your titans finish 9-7 win the division or continue being a nobody for the 3rd year in a row?
Somebody has got to win the division. Might as well be the Texans.
Now they don't have to gamble on a QB at 22 or sacrifice picks moving up.Did you see the garbage they threw out there at QB?

Don't know why anyone would want him. Good news for us though. Wonder where Fitzpatrick lands maybe the Broncos grab him seems like the only qb left.

That's not the point I was trying to make. The Texans won 9 games and almost half those came against 2 of the worst teams in football. they got better but so did most of the other AFC South teams.

It depends if you believed in a QB from the draft or not. Regardless spending $72 million on a QB who has started less games than Mariots and Mett is more risky. And arguably moreso than drafting a guy in the first. That's $72 mil you can't spend on improving/extending other guys on your roster

    Barely.

He struggled with a loaded Broncos team last year. A team and offense he was extremely familiar with. I honestly don't see him being any better than someone like Alex Smith. He was more of a game manager for the Broncos last year.

Don't see him being a difference maker honestly.
