He knows he has a good chance in starting here and gets to play with an uo and coming qb. We're a long-term place to play in his mind!

Now we just need to get Mariota to throw a better intermediate to deep ball.

Never heard of him but saw he was mentioned on here by a few. Seems like an upgrade over hunter and Douglas.

Kinda confused how many people never heard of Matthews and are so "luke-warm" on him.

He was the 2nd best WR in the FA class

I honestly never heard of Ben Jones but so many were doing jumping jacks over him

Maybe I need to watch more hard knocks?

    DGB: (5 games started, played all 16) 67 targets 32 receptions 549 yards 4 touchdowns 17.2 Y/R

    Harry Douglas: (12 games started) 72 targets 36 receptions 411 yards 2 touchdowns 11.4 Y/R

    Rishard Matthews: (11 games started) 61 targets 43 receptions 662 yards 4 touchdowns 15.4 Y/R

Yeah, we definitely needed some help and got it. Some are low on Matthews but I like the upside he provides. Battled it out against some good competition in Miami and won a starting spot. Put up nice numbers when he got his shot, proving to be a deep threat on offense and explosive player. If he builds off last year then we got some really good value here. That Miami offense was rough and didn't really fit him well either.

I'd take Matthews over Sanu any day of the week.

I really like this signing. Also really liked the David Givens signing too.

We've definitely addressed the offense, so far. Have to continue building around Mariota. I'm seriously liking how our offense is shaping up.

Hmmm... Idk but I just feel like Sanu is much better than Matthews. There was just something unspectacular about Matthews every time I saw him play.

I like Sanu a lot more, but I think Matthews will be a much cheaper option. Regardless, as a whole, there wasn't much at WR once Jeffery got tagged.

And just watch... Sanu will go to the Pats and have a big impact. If he's smart that's where he'll go.

Day 1 of free agency and we've got our starting running back (a huge improvement over everyone at that spot on roster), our new center (another huge improvement), and another solid receiving threat. Still would like to add another player on both sides of the line before the draft. In Jon Robinson i trust, great job so far.
