Hands down rookie of the year who wasn't even nominated..whoo0ed.on winston with an unsustainable gimmick offensive gameplan...notice how the o looked dramatically different when you compare that game to the others lol

 

I'm just saying you can't say he wasn't impressive....Dude was sacked a ton....and literally had scrub players around him most of the season and was beating Winston who has plenty of weapons for a while, until he was sat for 4 games ending the chance....That is damn impressive. More importantly, he showed poise, accuracy, and excellent smarts and pocket presence as a rookie. All of this with a crap and fired coach. Lets get real man. He outplayed Winston overall when on the field....no questions asked.

 

Carson Wentz is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck, there I said it.

 

Thank you Mayock! This class isn't even close to Winston/Mariota though.

 

I hope the aura around Wentz becomes so alluring that Jerry Jones falls in love with him, so he trades up for the #1 pick, and we get La'el Collins, the 4th pick, and other picks.

We have our RT of the future, we take the best player in the draft (Ramsey), and I get so joyously wasted on April 28 that I burn multiple bridges in my life.

 

Let me ask:

Would you trade the #1 to the Browns for the #2 and the first pick of the 2nd round and that's it?

I actually think he will be very similar to Rothlesberger. I still like Mariota better, but Wentz is a good one. Problem for us is supply and demand. There is a decent supply of starting caliber QB's in this draft...even in Rd 2, where I think Dallas will try to take Connor Cook if he is still on the board. The Rams will be totally happy to take Paxton Lynch at 15. Heck, with Cleveland signing RGIII, and knowing how impressed Hue Jackson was with him during his workout, and knowing that SF will probably keep Kaepernick, it's very plausible that the Rams get the first crack at a QB at 15.

I don't think the Eagles will draft a QB in the 1st, either. They are paying Bradford $18mill/yr and a hefty sum to bring Chase Daniels in to back him up. You don't spend that kind of money while looking to blow an early 1st Rd pick on a QB. I could see it if they had only paid Bradford backup kind of money, but they are paying him Tom Brady kind of money...which is really stupid, if you ask me.

Denver might try to trade up ahead of the Rams to get Wentz, since all of their options have dried up.
