That this is a god damn catch inside the end zone.
(And The Titans get the score in OT.)

Gotta go with this one. Who knows what they could have done the rest of those playoffs with a healthy CJ2K. Damn dirt Ravens.

probably would have lost against the next team, because these are the Titans we're talking about.

I also would change CJ getting hurt against the Ravens. I honestly think we win the SB with a healthy CJ that year.

Our D was just dominant, and CJ was unstoppable.

Now, we'd probably be in the same situation that we are in right now, but at least we'd have a SB trophy

Who knows, maybe if we win the SB, them AH would've decided to stay here, and with CJ going for 2k the next year, we might have had a shot at another SB

Your way off on this one, imo. If we keep mcnair, who obviously was still a good qb, vy rides the bench for 2 years at least (if we draft him at all). If mcnair is still on the team i don't think we take a qb in the first. At that point we'd still be a playoff team. We wouldn't have taken locker either because the time line doesn't add up. So by keeping mcnair, our situation is much better for the next 10 years, at tge worst. If we still took vy, then he'd be learning from his mentor and a true leader (would be huge for an immature guy).

Imo, the 2 biggest mistakes this franchise has made are letting mcnair go and keeping fisher to long. All the other bad moves were just dominos from those 2 moves.

Take Aaron Rogers instead of Pacman Jones.

I essentially had season tickets in the 2004 Season.. McNair wasn't good anymore.. always injured, and the team around him was even worse. His injury history and not great play when he was in.. was the reason we were even in position to draft VY that early in the draft. He was done as an effective QB on a mediocre team. His mediocrity was masked when he played on a Ravens team full of All-stars.

VY provided a spark in his rookie season, at least. McNair was no longer a viable QB for this team.. sorry to say it. Injuries had taken their toll, plus he was no longer a running threat. The only threat was his imminent threat of his broken rib puncturing a lung. Unfortunately football heroes don't last forever. McNair's window of greatness only lasted a few seasons.

IMHO, The Titans were going nowhere with the 2005-2007 version of McNair, or VY. In your and other Steve supporters' eyes, what realistic success would the titans have had with that era of McNair? McNair couldn't win it with the vastly superior Ravens.. What evidence is there he'd even have made the playoffs with the ragtag group of losers on the Titans circa 2005? He would have continued to get destroyed on the field, leaving all-time greats such as Volek or Doug Johnson to helm this joke of a team.

Honest to goodness, in retrospect, the Titans did McNair a favor by giving him over to the Ravens. He got to finish his career out on a good team, and got to the playoffs. He would have done no such thing here..
