Pretty dumb thing to say no matter what you believe.

I mean, JCB is practically a mom and he is as big a meat head as you can imagine.

Football isn't being attacked by moms. Football is being attacked by the media because the NFL moves the needle and they need stories. Moms(and other people) just go along with what they hear.

There is a war on football, professional football in particular.

I'm not sure where the organized effort to damage the game is coming from but it has gotten extremely political.

Football isn't even the most dangerous sport. Kids are more severely injured and even killed more often playing baseball than any other sport.

Basketball sees a ton of injuries. Ice Hockey is more violent than football as are MMA, Boxing and Wrestling and all see more severe injuries than football.

Injuries in sports are so misunderstood. I remember seeing an article ranking the most dangerous sports and they put football in front of NASCAR which has and continues to kill people.

More kids end up in the hospital from riding bikes than football but Obama isn't out saying he wouldn't let his kids race the Tour de France.

    Ridiculous.

Nobody is suing college football or high school football. No money in that.

Hell, we used to hit live to the ground four days a week in high school if games are included. There is way more punishment going on at high school practice fields than there are on NFL practice fields.

There is an argument that football would actually be safer if the shoulder pads and helmets were taken out of the game.

Players would automatically go back to more form tackles like rugby.

The issue isn't wearing pads vs not wearing pads. The issue is the type of equipment being worn. The modern football helmet is not designed to prevent concussions; it's designed to prevent skull fractures.

Until the NFL moves to the cushioned outer helmets concussion will be more prevalent than they should be.

Pro football is unapologeticly male! It's rough. It's nasty. It's mean. Men are applauded for being manly. In an attempt to avoid entering politics........ What group or groups hates men for being manly? For displaying all of those characteristics? Who bans dodgeball and tag, because it's too mean and creates bullies? Who forces the entire league to be clad in pink for an entire month? No, it's only about breast cancer on the surface. If it were truly about saving lives we would have colon cancer month and testicular cancer month. There sir, within your own answer to this question, you will you find the answer to your own ....

    L_______s!
