Titans Trade #1 Pick to Rams

The whole thing is it puts the Titans in a far more powerful position than we were at #1 and JR needs big kudos for doing something contrary to recent Titan policy and strategy. We can now , if we do have a specific target in the top 10 to trade back in with more ammo. Plus the 2017 picks as well. Much as I want Ramsey , this on paper is a very good day indeed.....

 

This is incredible! And I love that J. Rob said there was great value in doing it two weeks early so now he has time to finagle other trades.

Really wish we hadn't of given up our 4th and 6th though. Can anyone do the trade value chart math on this deal?

I like the trade too. That said, why would not getting Tunsil be considered good to you?

It's a good value and our team needs a lot of help. But I'm not as over the moon about this trade as most seem to be. I really did not want us to drop back that far. That said it was a terrible year to own the first overall pick and not need a QB. I trust that JR got the best deal possible. I just hope that we can still get an immediate impact player at 15 and/or move back up in the 1st.

Total value for the picks the Titans gave up is 3088.6.

Total approximate value for the picks the Rams gave up is 3370.

I chose to use the 16th pick and the 80th pick the for the Rams' future picks since we won't know the true value until next January. It very well could lean even more heavily in the Titans' favor.
