I started Ole Miss when Treadwell did so I've followed his college career very closely. First off he is exactly what a fan favorite player is. Treadwell just always left it out on the field and everyone loved him for his personality and his toughness. He snapped his ankle at the end of his sophomore year, but was ready for the first game the next season because he just worked his ass off.

As for being a player, I don't see how he's not going to be a stud in the league. Everyone wants to talk about him not having top end speed, but that just isn't his game. Laquon is a football player plain and simple. He runs great routes, fights for position, and can catch anything thrown his way. Watching him block was also a thing of beauty. He laid out a Texas A&M defender this year which you don't see from wide receivers. He went just as hard for rushing plays just to block as he did going out for passes.

At the end of the day Treadwell is as reliable as it gets. Great receiver with everything you would want just lacks that top end speed. He's going to be one of the hardest workers for whoever drafts him. And he will also win all the fans over because of how much of a great guy he is and how much he cares.

I haven't watched much film on him, but if he has great route running abilities, that will make up his speed tremendously.

Literally his only knock is his 40 time, but it doesnt limit his game at all so its a moot point

good GM's still have this guy as the No.1 WR IMO

Treadwell and MM could be a scary combo.

MM is great at the mid-range stuff. Very accurate and gets the ball to the right spots at the right time. Treadwell could compliment that very well with his crisp route running. I could see them hooking up for 10-20 yard gains all game long.

Accurate QB and crisp route running is how you get separation in the NFL.

I like Treadwell and Doctson, but I think Doctson gets the edge because of his athleticism. They're both pretty physical with the ball in the air. Both of them offer YAC ability. Both track the ball pretty well in the air.

Who has the ability to turn a smoke route into a touchdown though? Doctson.

I think they'd be borderline reaches at 15. The important thing to keep in mind with our pick is we're not looking at QBs at all. If two QBs go before our pick we're essentially picking at #13. I probably can't make the argument that Treadwell or Doctson are the 13th best players on our board.

While I'd love Doctson at 15, I think we go a different route. Now at 33 if there's a big slider in Treadwell, I'd be pissed if we passed on him
