No way the Browns trade out of #2 unless it's to #1, and I 100% guarantee they draft a quarterback with their top pick. Are you kidding me? This is absolutely a smokescreen to tie up any potential trade partners with us before the draft. Maybe they'll try to string the 9ers, Eagles and Rams along until zero hour and then pull the plug last minute. Anything to keep us from consummating a trade with a QB needy team before the draft. It's clever, but a little obvious.

Browns get #8, #77, #100, 2017 first, and 2018 second.

I think they got fleeced. The Browns' #1 pick was worth 2600 points. The amount of points the Eagles gave them this year was worth 1705 points. Let's assume the Eagles' first round pick next year is #16, which would be worth 1000 and then the 2018 pick is #48, which would be 480 points. A difference of +473(when you subtract the 112 for the Browns' fourth going to Philly), but Hugh Jackson and Sashi Brown might not even be around for the 2018 draft...

 

Great value for the Browns. Titans had to trade all the way to 15. Browns only move to 8. Of course, the Titans got those two 2nd-rounders.
