Best ball skills of any defensive back but 0 INT's? I know more goes into ball skills than picks but best ball skills should have a least a couple picks. Either that or the ball skills in this draft are pitiful.

Mel Kiper came out with his final Big Board today. Alexander was ranked #64. I was looking for him around 25-35 and didn't see him. I thought he omitted him for some reason/by accident. I kept scrolling down and eventually found him.

I think Mel Kiper is generally no better than any of us, but I thought this was pretty shocking.

Edit: Lol. He did forget to rank Derrick Henry though. What a maroon.

Right now, I see Hargraves, Conklin, Treadwell, Doctson as our most likely picks at 15 if we stay. Our big 6 needs are OT, CB, S, OLB, WR, DL.

    My ideal mock
    15- V. Hargraves- CB
    33- N. Spence - DE/OLB
    43- Shon Coleman - OT
    45- M. Thomas - WR
    64- H. Ridgeway- DT
    76- Kevin Byard - S

Lol I think Henry gets drafted in the 2nd round by Cleveland or Dallas if neither one of them takes Elliott.

This stuff is so hard to predict on which prospects are going to be good and which ones won't. So many factors that go into but Kiper, McShay, Mayock, and all those other guys have way more sources than any of us so they are a step ahead at least in that department.

We give these draft guys a lot of crap but they're not really experts until basically draft week when they start to hear more rumblings. The ESPN guys, CBS, NFLN, etc. all they do is adjust their draft board and mocks when they hear something. Could be true or could be false. Everyone had Alexander way up for seemingly the past year but after they talk to some NFL guys, now he's a 2nd round pick. I'm pretty sure you have a better chance of winning the lottery than guessing correctly on the entire 1st round.

I'm curious how close some people did get in the previous draft years.

I agree though, no way this years can be predicted and that's not even including potential trades on the day of.

This is what PFF said about Alexander in their final 150 ranking. They ranked him 21

Trapped in a Clemson defensive scheme that hung him out to dry with a lot of soft, off-coverage, Alexander may be a far better pro player than he was in college. Has all the traits of a top, shutdown corner.

You can be cocky and have attitude and still be a team first guy. I'm not even a huge Alexander fan but I would rather my CBs be cocky. We have enough Justin Hunter personalities.
