You're saying Miller has as much of a chance to grow into being a WR like Justin Hunter?

Hunter at least drew rave reviews about his production as a WR to match his outstanding measurables.

You're willing to take a flier on a 2nd rounder who's 2 years away from real playing time unlike Hunter and Sankey?

I am. Your building for the future that's why we traded back so we can build towards the future. Yeah he's a work in progress but he has the measurable sand in the open field he's possibly the most elusive WR in the draft. I think playing QB actually helps him in transitioning and Stewart and Randle El had success paying the role he will play until he becomes a full time outside WR but still gives you the flexibility to run some trick plays. We don't need him to necessarily ball out this year so he can learn and when Kendall walks Matthews moves to the slot and Miller moves to the edge with DGB.

You dont just draft for the upcoming season you draft for the future as well.

I love the talk about trick plays when Braxton Miller comes up.

People seem to gloss over his 26 career receptions for 341 yds and 3 TDs.

A TD every nine receptions ain't bad.

To be fair OSU WR don't put up huge numbers in that offense. Thomas lead the team with 56 catches and 799yds and 9 TDs.

On top of that he was transitioning to a new position and Cardale Jones wasn't exactly an efficient passer. Stats are part of scouting but hardly an end all be all.

Everybody says stats don't matter when they're trying to sell a stud WR who is a project and only has 26 career catches.

Laughable that Cardale Jones is draft able too. The Ohio State hype machine is unreal
