I'm right there with you. I'm hoping we stay at 15 if Conklin is there and take him.

The way our offense is, a TE is just as good as a WR1. I wouldn't mind getting a solid TE one of the 2nd rounders.

I like adams out of sc and he could be had in the later rounds. Henry is the best, imo, but idk if he's worth the 33rd pick.

Yup, this would be my ideal scenario too. Fix the line, help the receiving core, the secondary and still get an extra guy at #45.

I like the idea of grabbing a TE early. Walker will be 32 by the time the season starts and on the last year of his contract. There are a few qualities guys this year that could split some time and then take over next year if Walker leaves.

I would be very surprised if we drafted a TE at all. We have a bunch of needs and TE is no where near the top. Walker, Fasano, Stevens, Supernaw, and Coffman are more than enough. Walker needs to be extended and Fasano and Stevens played well. If we did, no way its before the 5th round. Its one of the few positions we have quality depth.

    Walker/Fasano/Stevens are all over 30+
Supernaw is a borderline practice squad player
Coffman isn't even with this team anymore

This year would be a great year to grab a TE to groom for 1 to 2 years.

Not disagreeing but Mularkey has compared our team to the 2008 Dolphins where Fascano actually played, I think theres a good chance we roll with the guys we already have.

It is also not 2008 and Fasano has age quite a bit. Stevens and him are servicable, no disagreement there. However, they are not the playmakers that Walker is. Imagine a single back formation with Hunter Henry/Austin Hooper, Walker, DGB, Wright, Matthews.

Fowler has enough talent to supplement what we lack at TE IMO, I just think we're going to ignore TE's this draft
