The best thing about this pick to me is that Conklin actually wants to be here. A lot of players say "I don't care who drafts me, I'm just thankful to be here". Conklin genuinely wants to be here. He fell in love with Nashville and what JR and Mularky were selling to him. Those are the kind of players I want on this team.

I'm not mad about the pick. I like Conklin. I'm mad about the trade. That was stupid.

Wouldn't surprise me. We do a lot of stupid **** come draft time. Like take a guard and reach on third round QBs in the top ten.

The thing I think we have to remember is Robinson has said he wants hard-nosed, team-first guys.

Read Conklin's history. He wasn't the golden boy who was recruited by the top universities. Nothing was handed to him. He got to where he is by hard work.

So don't be surprised to see Robinson talk about his character and that how he reflects what he wants to see in every player on the roster.

was a little sad we passed on tunsil, but even with these texts leaking now and him saying his coach didn't give him money tun changing his answers he seems shady.. really like conklin was high on him before the draft think he's a great fit, yes we gave up a lot for him but he will keep marcus upright which is key all while lewan gets to stay at his position, also I'm pumped that JR didn't give up a 2nd this year, look at the talent on the board still! going to get a lot of value tomorrow.

He was a top 10 player on a lot of boards though.. so that's not really surprising to anyone actually. He was going in the top 10 if we didn't take him

Getting what could be the best OT at 8 overall isn't a bad thing especially in a weak draft like this one, as far as difference makers go.

The Titans always grab offensive linemen in "weak" drafts. They always suck too.

3 top 11 picks on this line. If the performance isn't top of the line in 2016 I'm going to be pissed. Way too much draft equity in non-premium positions.

Conklin likely isn't there at #15. As much as I don't like locking onto a position in the first round, I think the Titans were and they feared not getting an OT staying at #15.

There is a thread in the Draft area on the second round. Let's keep this one about Conklin or possible alternatives.

That's a good time to grab lineman IMO. When there aren't many skill position players that can come in and make a impact. New line, new coach, new scheme, lets see how it all plays out first before we panic.
